Students event raises money for U of M Caner Center

In this photo sophomore Bridget Brown, junior Emily Muysenberg, and senior Dan Thelen go over points from previous games played throughout the day to try and figure out which teams will move on and which teams will go home.
They are part of a five person group for RPL 430, other group member names are sophomores Nicole Kress and Tracy Miller, which they have to put on an event at some point in the semester and raise money for an organization or charity. In this groups case they chose to raise money for the U of M Comprehensive Cancer Center, their goal was to raise $400 in donations, entry fees, and raffle tickets and in the end they raised $576 to donate.
The event went from 2pm and ended around 5:30pm and they had 11 teams sign up to play, all of this taking place in the Student Activity Center’s (The SAC) volleyball courts.
